Ranch dip has always been one of my favorite foods to snack on. So I came up with a healthy version that I could feel good about eating on a consistent basis. Serve with some vegetables and you have a healthy snack packed with antioxidants!
The recipe is made with plain Greek Yogurt which I usually have on hand for a quick breakfast combined with fruit. And the spices are commonly used in other recipes as well. So it makes for an easy “go to” hunger busting snack at any time.
Add a little milk and you can even use it for salad dressing.
|
- 2 c greek yogurt
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp dried minced onion
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Add all ingredient into a medium sized bowl and you're done!
- It doesn't get much easier than that!
- And if you like cilantro, go ahead and toss in 1 tsp of that as well!
God-given health benefits of these delicious ingredients:
Yogurt: contains protein for muscle and skin health, may provide energy, contains probiotics for the immune system, and may contribute to bone health.
Parsley: contains antioxidants, may inhibit tumor formation, support the immune system, promote heart health, provide protection from arthritis.
Dill: contains antioxidants and may boost digestion, help prevent cancer, and boost your immune system.
Onion: may improve immunity, fight infection, regulate blood sugar, reduce inflammation, fight allergies.
Garlic: detoxes the body and may boost immune function, lower blood pressure, and fight colds and flu.

Love your recipes!! Thanks for the website. Do you make your own mayo? Everything in the store, including health stores is made with either soy oil or canola oil, both of which are inflammatory. Just wondering if you have a recipe you like.

Thanks Shelly! I haven’t made my own may as of yet. But after making my aioli recipe I decided I needed to try. So far, I haven’t been satisfied enough with the taste to put one on my site. However, you have spurred me on to try harder. I have 2 I will work with this week and let you know how it goes.
